How to use

  3. Create PDF, inspect the sheet sides and download.

Every run starts from your original file. Reset releases the selection, output and preview.

Printing notes

Print at actual size with one output PDF page per sheet side; disable your printer’s booklet and multiple-pages options. For a booklet, use duplex printing, keep the output order and fold the stack together down the middle. Landscape sheets usually need short-edge duplex flipping; portrait sheets usually need long-edge flipping. Test one sheet because printer feed and duplex settings vary.

Booklet output alternates front then back, from the outermost sheet inward. Blank slots pad the source page count to a multiple of four. Right binding mirrors each pair. N-up fills the final side with blank slots as needed.

Frequently asked questions

What happens to forms, links and annotations?

Vector mode embeds page graphics and flattens standard form fields into static appearances. Other annotations, including comments and highlights, are omitted in vector mode: choose Rendered to include their visible appearances. Links, editable fields, bookmarks, attachments, layers and document navigation are not preserved as interactive features. Digital signatures are not retained. Neither mode is a redaction or sanitization tool.

When should I use Rendered?

Use Rendered for visible annotations or when vector output differs from your source. Each source page becomes a 150 dpi image before fitting, so text is no longer selectable or searchable and may look softer when enlarged. Font substitution, complex PDF features and reader-generated appearances can differ. Pop-up comment text is not printed as a separate note. Inspect the output before printing.

Which files and paper sizes work?

Choose an unencrypted, readable PDF. Empty, malformed, unsupported dynamic XFA forms and resource failures show an error. There is no chosen file-size or page-count limit; large documents depend on available browser memory. Cancel stops processing. A4 is 210 × 297 mm, Letter 215.9 × 279.4 mm and A3 297 × 420 mm; Custom accepts positive dimensions with room for the requested margins and gaps.

Can I make separate booklet signatures?

This tool creates one folded stack from the entire PDF. It does not split signatures, compensate for paper thickness or arrange printer-specific manual duplex batches. For shorter booklets, first extract a page range.

What if the preview cannot render?

Download remains available if preview rendering fails. Open the downloaded PDF in your reader to inspect it. Creation and preview run in your browser. Your file is not uploaded or stored by this tool.
