Your files

Handyjar tools run in your web browser. When you choose a file or enter text, your browser reads and processes it on your device. Your files and text are not uploaded to Handyjar or to anyone else.

Results are created in your browser and kept in the page's memory. They are saved only when you download or copy them. When you close or reload the page, the tool keeps no copy of your files or results.

What the site stores on your device

• The image resizer remembers its settings in your browser's local storage, under the key tools-site.settings.image-resize.v1. The saved settings are the resize mode, width, height, aspect-ratio lock, percentage and smoothing. They contain no image data. They stay until you clear this site's data in your browser.
• No other tool or page saves anything in browser storage.
• Handyjar's own code sets no cookies.

Tool search

Search in the tool directory runs in your browser. The search text is kept in the part of the address after the #. Browsers do not send that part to the server, but it can stay in your browser history.

No analytics or tracking

Handyjar has no analytics, advertising or tracking scripts. Pages load their code, fonts and other files only from this site. The pages' security policy blocks connections to other servers. The one exception is the contact page, described in the next section.

The contact form

The contact page is the only page that sends anything you type. It sends your message, and your name and email address if you fill them in. They are used only to read and answer your message.

To block spam, the contact page loads Cloudflare Turnstile from Cloudflare's servers. Turnstile checks your browser and sends Cloudflare data about the browser and the visit. Cloudflare handles that data under its Turnstile privacy addendum. Other pages do not load Turnstile.

Hosting

Cloudflare hosts and delivers this site. To deliver and protect the site, Cloudflare processes standard request data, such as your IP address, the page you ask for and your browser's user agent. Cloudflare handles that data under its own privacy policy.

Links to other sites

If you follow a link to another site, that site's own privacy policy applies.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, this page will show the new text and a new effective date.
