Encoding and export happen in your browser. This tool does not upload, log or persist your inputs. Reset clears the form and releases the preview and download. A QR code is readable data, not encryption; only share content you intend others to read.

Frequently asked questions

What size should I use?

The right size depends on content density, scanning distance, display or print quality, and your scanner. PNG needs at least one pixel per module plus its margin; a larger module is usually more practical. SVG and PDF scale without a raster resolution, but printing too small can still make them unreadable. Extremely large dimensions depend on browser, viewer, printer and available memory.

Will every exported code scan?

No universal scan guarantee is possible. Test the downloaded file with your intended phone or app, after placing or printing it. Avoid stretching, cropping the white border, low contrast and small modules. Higher correction adds redundancy but also increases density. Readers may interpret Unicode or structured payloads differently.

Does this convert an existing QR image?

This tool creates exports from the original payload text. It does not read an existing QR image, recolor codes, or generate batches. For Wi-Fi, contact and other guided inputs, open the QR Code Generator. The SVG and PDF exports contain vector QR geometry; the PDF preview shows that geometry rather than a PDF viewer.

Why did export fail?

QR capacity depends on content and correction level. Shorten content or try lower correction if it exceeds capacity. Increase the PNG width if it cannot fit the modules. Browser allocation failures may need a smaller output or SVG. Cancel stops processing; you can edit, reset and create another export.
