The fonts are bundled with this site. There is no external font, stock image or quote service.
Frequently asked questions
Will my text fit?
Newlines and blank lines are preserved. Long lines wrap inside your padding, with long words split between grapheme clusters. The text block, including descenders, is placed inside the padding. The chosen font size stays fixed. A warning appears when text exceeds the padded height or measured glyphs extend beyond the card. Reduce the size or padding, or enlarge the card. Very tight line spacing can overlap lines. The preview shows exactly what the PNG contains.
Which fonts and languages can I use?
DejaVu Serif, Sans and Sans Mono are bundled locally. Unicode and right-to-left text are accepted. Characters outside these fonts use browser fallback and can appear as missing-glyph boxes when your device has no suitable font. Check the preview before saving. Attribution uses the same font at half the quote size.
How does the background image fit?
Cover fills the card and crops the image around its center. Contain shows the whole image, with your background color around it. Image opacity blends it with that color. Text stays fully opaque. Remove image returns to the solid background.
What happens to animation and image metadata?
The result is a new static PNG at your chosen pixel dimensions. Browser decoding applies image orientation and selects one frame from animated or multi-image formats. Original metadata, animation and editable text layers are not retained. Canvas renders in sRGB; HDR and color-profile handling can change the original colors.
Why could rendering fail?
Format support, canvas capacity, font support and available memory depend on the browser and device. An empty or damaged image shows an error beside the chooser and leaves your card as it was. There is no tool-imposed text, file-size or pixel cap; a card larger than your browser can draw shows an error and keeps your text and settings. Reset clears your inputs.
