The image is decoded and rendered in your browser. Your image, filename and text are not uploaded or saved by this tool. Clear the image or leave the page to release it.

The preview displays the exported PNG, scaled to fit your screen. The download keeps the decoded image dimensions and transparency.

A few things to know before you save.

Which fonts and languages can I use?

DejaVu Sans, Serif and Sans Mono are bundled locally. Unicode text is accepted, including right-to-left text with the direction control. Characters outside a font’s coverage use browser fallback and may appear as missing-glyph boxes if your device has no suitable font. Check the preview before saving; those same pixels go into your download.

Will text outside the image be clipped?

Yes. The image canvas stays the same size. Text can be placed partly or fully outside it; a warning appears when the measured text bounds extend past an edge. Newlines make additional lines. Long lines do not automatically wrap. Reset text removes every text layer and restores the decoded image.

What happens to animation, orientation and metadata?

The browser applies image orientation while decoding. Animated and multi-image formats become the single frame the browser decodes. The PNG is a new static image: original metadata, animation, editable layers and color-profile metadata are not preserved. Browser decoding and sRGB canvas rendering can change colors in color-managed or high-dynamic-range images.

Why won’t an image open or render?

Format support and available memory depend on your browser and device. A damaged or unsupported image shows an error. There is no tool-imposed file-size or dimension limit. Cancel & clear stops processing and releases the current image; choose the file again to restart.
