Cancel stops generation and keeps settings. Reset restores defaults and releases the previous image and download.
Output notes
Images are single-frame sRGB raster files. PNG preserves colors and transparency losslessly; JPEG and WebP use the browser’s lossy encoder at quality 92%. Browser format support varies; unavailable encoders show an error.
Available memory and browser canvas limits determine which dimensions work. No fixed image-size cap is imposed. Use a current browser that supports image generation.
Frequently asked questions
How do I make a blank image or a dimension label?
Leave the label empty to show width × height. Enter a space to draw no visible label. Background and text colors accept six-digit hex values. Transparency replaces the background color for PNG or WebP.
Why is my text clipped?
The chosen font size is kept exactly. Lines are vertically centered as a group, spaced at 1.2 times the font size, and aligned to the left edge, center or right edge. Text does not automatically wrap or shrink. Any part beyond the canvas is clipped; the result warns when measured glyph bounds exceed the image. Use line breaks, a smaller font or a larger image.
Which fonts and languages are supported?
DejaVu Sans, Serif and Sans Mono are bundled locally. These fonts do not cover every script or emoji. Missing characters use available browser fallback fonts and may appear as missing-glyph boxes. Text appearance and shaping can vary across browsers. Text uses a left-to-right base direction; check mixed-direction labels in the actual preview.
Is the preview the same file as the download?
Yes. The preview displays the encoded download file, scaled to fit the page. The dimensions are checked after encoding. Edits hide the old preview and download until you generate again, so they always refer to the displayed settings.
