How to round image corners

  1. Choose an image from your device.
  2. Set the radius for each corner, or link them all. Choose Round corners to apply.
  3. Check the result and download your PNG.

Frequently asked questions

How are corner radii measured?

Each value is the radius of a circular arc in original image pixels, after source orientation is applied. Zero leaves that corner square. Uncheck Link all corners to edit them separately. If two neighboring radii together exceed their image edge, the same factor reduces every radius until all edges fit. The result summary shows the applied values, rounded to two decimal places for display.

Does the checkerboard appear in the download?

No. It marks transparent space in the preview. Pixels outside the rounded shape become transparent, the boundary is antialiased, and existing transparency inside the shape is retained. The exported PNG keeps the oriented dimensions. It is a new raster file and may be larger than the original; this tool does not optimize file size.

Which images can I open?

The tool tries your browser's native decoder, including JPEG, PNG and WebP. Other formats depend on browser support; extensions alone do not determine compatibility. Source orientation is applied before rounding. Animated images become one decoded frame retained for repeat exports. Each export starts from that original frame, so edits do not accumulate.

Are files uploaded, and how do I stop processing?

Files are decoded and processed in your browser. This tool does not upload, log or store them. Clear image or leave the page to release the image. Cancel & clear stops a pending operation; selecting another file replaces it. Reset radii keeps the source and restores square corners. Damaged or unsupported files show an error. Available memory and browser image-size limits determine what can be processed. Use a current browser that can create PNG images.
